Lighting a bulb (inspiring inventions from India - series)

This is one of my favorite posts.
An idea so simple yet so useful that it creates such a big impact in the life of a common man. Ricksha's are very common in India. In northern India or in Calcutta you can easily get a ricksha for small commute.
This invention by Mr. Suprio Das allows the ricksha wallas to attach a battery to their ricksh's . As the ricksha wallas drive their ricksha.s during the day the battery gets charged and later in the night when they come come they can use this charged battery to light up an led light that can last upto 6 hours. In most poor people homes electricity is a luxury and with the rising costs in India spending money daily on kerosene oil to light up a lamp in  many poor people's house is expensive.
